On March 18th Microsoft announced Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 during the Desktop Virtualization Hour. As part of the announcement, two new technologies were unveiled - Dynamic Memory and RemoteFX. This session covers these enhancements at a high level as well as other enhancements being made to Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Finally, this session covers how these enhancements fit into the overall virtualization story from Microsoft alongside other partners.
